Program Summary

This suite of program foster collaboration between the Westlake Watershed District and local landowners to implement a variety of conservation initiatives designed to enhance ecological health and resilience. It offers financial support for a range of projects, including drain crossing, abandoned well capping, and beaver damage mitigation. Additionally, the program features the GROW initiative, which encompasses water retention, wetland conservation, riparian area protection, shelterbelt establishment, and upland area preservation. Landowners can also benefit from rebates for forage and polycrop seeds, as well as support for exclusion fencing, offsite watering systems, demonstration plots, and wetland protection efforts.
