Conservation Goals

Commitment
Infrastructure installation commitment is dependent on the landowner.
Incentive
The program offers cost-sharing for infrastructure and labor. This includes:
Exclusion fencing (for dugouts and waterways)
75% of the cost of materials and installation for a two strand electric fence with up to 40 ft. post spacing
Alternative watering systems
Up to 75% of materials and labour associated with watering systems of waterways (up to $7500)
75% for watering systems for dugouts (up to $5,000)
Livestock crossings
Up to $1000
Swinging fences
Up to $1000
Cross river fencing
Up to $1000
Riparian and dugout fencing, alternative watering systems and livestock crossing improvement
75% of establishment cost
