Program Summary

Conservation Easements with DUC Saskatchewan are legal tools that restrict some land uses while allowing others. The landowner maintains ownership of the land, while making a commitment to conserve its natural areas. DUC Saskatchewan easements pay approximately 35% of current land values. They are compatible with grazing, haying and other low-impact land uses.
